The brief: Teleport a football stadium 5000 miles to Bangalore, India. Give die hard fans in India an authentic and unique 360-degree immersive Old Trafford virtual experience.
Destination United was born. An immersive, hyper authentic AR/VR experience housed in a custom built igloo style dome. We took Old Trafford and the spirit of Manchester United to their fans. Utilising the newest technologies, we created an experience that captured what it is to be a fan of Man United; the sights, the sounds and the actual hum of energy on game day. The experience ran for three days in India and is set to travel the globe.
The result: "With zero spent on media, the global campaign is still running but has already achieved over 31m video views, over 1 million engagements, reached 89m fans globally, as well as 55m fans in (the real) Old Trafford"
